I remember hearing some actors from Chosen doing readings on the Hallow app during Christmas. I've always been skeptical about Christian shows and movies, assuming they were cheesy with poor acting. But then, both Netflix and Amazon Prime kept recommending it. So, I decided to give it a shot, just one episode. To my surprise, I was instantly hooked. My friends now joke that I could be a marketer for the show, given my newfound passion for it! I'm currently on my third round of watching it and even participating in a Bible study alongside.

As someone who has dedicated their life to studying the Bible and teaching adults for over four decades, I've found that the series, Chosen, truly captures the essence of the Messiah. Every Sunday afternoon, we gather as a church family to watch this series, and the insightful questions it sparks are truly remarkable. This portrayal of Jesus is something that needs to be seen by as many people as possible. In American churches, our preaching has often been skewed, focusing on one aspect of the Savior over others. But we're called to follow Jesus as he is, not a version we've created for ourselves. To do otherwise is simply idolatry. The Chosen has done an exceptional job of presenting a holistic view of Jesus, the only one truly worth following. It's a series that strikes at the heart of what it means to be a follower of Christ, challenging us to see beyond our preconceptions and embrace the full measure of the Messiah.

I stumbled upon The Chosen through a social media ad and decided to give the first episode of the first season a shot. I was so moved that I immediately shared it with my husband and everyone we knew. The high-quality production, especially the writing, captivated us from the get-go. The ripple effect of our enthusiasm has been remarkable. We've witnessed a surge of excitement and conversations about Jesus and these incredible stories within our circle of friends, at our church (which has even screened The Chosen on the big screen), and in my small group. It's astounding how many doors and opportunities open up when we wear The Chosen merchandise, providing us with a chance to share Jesus with others. We're committed to continuing our support for this project and eagerly anticipate any future endeavors.

When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, my life took a drastic turn. I was put on prednisone, a medication that weakened my immune system. This meant that during the pandemic, I had to isolate myself at home. It was during this challenging period that I discovered The Chosen. It felt like a divine intervention, a beacon of hope in a time of despair. My husband and I found solace in every live stream and episode. It was a source of comfort during a particularly rough season of my life. I've been a Christian since childhood, but The Chosen allowed me to experience Jesus in a new and profound way. It was as if I was falling in love with Him all over again. My heart's desire is for everyone to experience the incredible love and redeeming grace of Jesus. I am immensely grateful for The Chosen, for bringing Jesus closer to us in such a unique way. It's like a picture of Jesus, vivid and real, right in our living room.

Hello, I'm Josie, a 30-year-old woman from São Gabriel do Oeste, a city nestled in the heart of Brazil. I first encountered The Chosen in 2021, a few months after my father, my rock, succumbed to cancer. His loss left me adrift, searching for something to anchor me. That's when The Chosen came into my life. I was immediately captivated by the series, which portrayed Jesus in a way I'd never seen before - as a human, relatable and real. It was through this depiction that I began to grasp why He had called me. Fast forward to the start of this year, I found myself revisiting the three seasons of The Chosen. This was after a period of self-isolation from church and surviving two suicide attempts. Watching the series again, I found a renewed perspective on life, God, and Jesus. I won't pretend that everything is perfect now. I still grapple with depression, but I'm learning to cope, to keep moving forward.
