Through The Chosen, I found a way to share the authentic Jesus with the world. It's more than a show, it's a movement I'm proud to be part of.
I first stumbled upon Chosen through Facebook ads when they were just beginning to partner up. Intrigued, I decided to invest. By the time I watched Episode 4 of Season 1, my excitement had grown, but I was skeptical about how many people I knew would actually subscribe to watch. However, when Dallas made it free on the app, I was over the moon. I couldn't help but share it with everyone I knew. I made a point of showing the "fish scene" to those I thought might be skeptical. To my surprise, they weren't. I had this one friend who I knew would spread the word faster than wildfire if I told her about it. We were both incredibly moved by the Sermon on the Mount and the Feeding of the Five Thousand. Now, I proudly wear the badge of a top fan and am committed to spreading the word about The Chosen to the world. I don't even need a tax deduction for my contributions, but I appreciate that it's an option. I wish more people would donate, even if it's just a little every month. I firmly believe that this show will lead more and more people to discover the authentic Jesus.

I felt like there was a great storm around me and I was all alone. Watching 'The Chosen', I deeply related to Peter in the episode where Jesus walks on water. Peter's confusion, anger, and his plea, "hold me Lord," as he began to sink, mirrored my emotions. It reminded me that, even in my lowest moments, Jesus never lets go. God is using The Chosen, and it's clear! He's used it in my life and will use it in many others!

I may have only brought a scrap of bread and a sardine, but it made me feel incredible to be a part of something so meaningful.
In 2018, I became a widow. The adjustments that come with losing a long-term partner are immense. Throughout it all, I held onto my faith in the Lord and His promises for widows. It was around Christmas time when I stumbled upon the original short episode that premiered before The Chosen was even produced. As I watched it, tears streamed down my face. I was completely emotionally invested in this short film. I couldn't stop watching it, and I started recommending it to everyone I knew. I felt compelled to learn more about the producers and the people behind this incredible project. My heart and spirit told me that I needed to invest in it, not just emotionally, but financially as well. To be honest, I didn't have a lot of money, but I knew it was the right thing to do. I am so grateful that God allowed me to be a part of it from the beginning. I only wish I had been a wealthy widow so I could have done more. But as Dallas always says, "Loaves and fishes!" In my case, I may have only brought a scrap of bread and a sardine, but it still made me feel incredible to be a part of something so meaningful. I continue to recommend the series to everyone I know. Recently, one of my daughters started watching it too. She has now watched the entire available series multiple times. Surprisingly, she has also developed an interest in Middle Eastern cooking because of The Chosen. I never saw that coming, but it's a nice bonus! When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, my life took a drastic turn. I was put on prednisone, a medication that weakened my immune system. This meant that during the pandemic, I had to isolate myself at home. It was during this challenging period that I discovered The Chosen. It felt like a divine intervention, a beacon of hope in a time of despair. My husband and I found solace in every live stream and episode. It was a source of comfort during a particularly rough season of my life. I've been a Christian since childhood, but The Chosen allowed me to experience Jesus in a new and profound way. It was as if I was falling in love with Him all over again. My heart's desire is for everyone to experience the incredible love and redeeming grace of Jesus. I am immensely grateful for The Chosen, for bringing Jesus closer to us in such a unique way. It's like a picture of Jesus, vivid and real, right in our living room.
