We began 'The Chosen' in 2020, and while the initial episodes were engaging, it was the latter half of season one that truly captivated us. The moment Jesus calls Matthew was profoundly moving, bringing us all to tears. Inspired, we chose to contribute, hoping others might feel as deeply as we did. Our love for the show has only grown deeper since then. We appreciate how it brings the gospels to life in a real, meaningful, and relatable way. Through The Chosen, I found a way to share the authentic Jesus with the world. It's more than a show, it's a movement I'm proud to be part of.
I first stumbled upon Chosen through Facebook ads when they were just beginning to partner up. Intrigued, I decided to invest. By the time I watched Episode 4 of Season 1, my excitement had grown, but I was skeptical about how many people I knew would actually subscribe to watch. However, when Dallas made it free on the app, I was over the moon. I couldn't help but share it with everyone I knew. I made a point of showing the "fish scene" to those I thought might be skeptical. To my surprise, they weren't. I had this one friend who I knew would spread the word faster than wildfire if I told her about it. We were both incredibly moved by the Sermon on the Mount and the Feeding of the Five Thousand. Now, I proudly wear the badge of a top fan and am committed to spreading the word about The Chosen to the world. I don't even need a tax deduction for my contributions, but I appreciate that it's an option. I wish more people would donate, even if it's just a little every month. I firmly believe that this show will lead more and more people to discover the authentic Jesus.

I have a 10 year old son who was recently diagnosed with Autism. I have hope, pride and a grateful heart…but still, in the very depths of my heart, was the fear: “How can he serve you if He doesn’t understand the concept of an unseen Father?” I prayed and God answered. I gave The Chosen a chance. Once we realized that Matthew’s character was autistic, I fell on my knees and wept for maybe an hour. Seeing Jesus telling Simon “get used to different” still brings tears of joy. Jesus saw Matthew’s value. He understood he was different but not less useful than his other disciples. But the most important lesson was that Matthew had the capacity to love and willingly gave his life to Jesus on his own accord. Every episode felt like God Himself telling me, “look! I will work through your son, and he is no different than my other sheep. Your son not only will be able to know but love Me and serve Me in ways you cannot imagine”. I see the correlation between making Matthew’s character autistic and a tax collector, but I felt God inspired it on purpose so I could see how far He can take my son. My son’s name is Mattias, the Hebrew version of Matthew. My son not only understands that Matthew in The Chosen is like him, but he willingly came to us to get baptized and accept Jesus into his heart. Our pastors and I asked him if he understood what it means: he knew Jesus for sure. Not only did he get baptized but he recently wrote in his closet door “God is good”, stating that he feels God in his room with him. You have NO IDEA how much the show helped my husband and I to know and understand that our Matthew, is loved, has purpose and will grow into the man of God, we know he will be. I’m sure the Holy Spirit is working overtime inspiring the writers, the cast, and everyone involved. Thank you for being a vessel, for being a beacon of light and hope! The world will get used to different.

My brother endured a 12-year ordeal in an Indonesian prison, unjustly sentenced to death. It seemed like an insurmountable situation, but through global prayers and divine interventions, he was miraculously released in 2021. The simple act of us sitting together, watching any show, is a miracle. Watching 'The Chosen' together is indescribable. Seeing my brother, alive and moved by the show, fills my heart with joy. The Chosen brings the Bible to life and gives us a glimpse into the untold stories of its characters. It's a privilege to support this project and share the message of Jesus.
The Bible has always been a source of love and inspiration for me. I can't get enough of reading about the people and their stories. I'm always curious about what they were thinking and feeling in those pivotal moments. That's why The Chosen is perfect for me. It brings those stories to life and gives us a glimpse into the backstories of the characters. The writers do an incredible job of staying true to the Bible while weaving together different narratives. I feel privileged to support this project through donations and buying gifts. Recently, my three grandchildren and I decided to wear our Chosen t-shirts to school. It's a public school, so we knew we would get questions. And we did. But we were prepared with answers. I'm not the type to push my beliefs on others, but if someone is curious, I'm more than happy to have a conversation. My grandchildren and I were proud to promote the show and share the message of Jesus, who is the reason behind it all. I want to encourage the team behind The Chosen to keep up the amazing work. I will continue to support you financially and with my prayers. It may not be much, but every little bit counts.
