Come and See Announces Transition in Leadership to Further Enhance Global Impact
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO / December 3, 2024 – Come and See today announced the installment of newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer James Barnett and Stan Jantz’ transition to the role of Global Ambassador as the organization embarks on its next season of missional growth.
In his new role as CEO of Come and See, Barnett will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the organization as it seeks to expand its global reach in the effort to reach one billion people with the authentic Jesus. Previously, Barnett served as president of DaySpring, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, which grew to one of the world’s largest Christian expressions resource providers under his leadership.
“I am grateful for the privilege to serve the mission and vision of Come and See. To participate in helping people around the world to encounter Jesus through The Chosen is an amazing opportunity – this is only just beginning,” said James Barnett, newly-appointed CEO of Come and See.
Since November 2022, Jantz oversaw Come and See’s historic achievement of translating The Chosen into 70+ languages, while developing new partnerships as the series was brought to remote villages and prisons and serving as an ambassador for the Season 4 premiere around the world. In his new capacity as Global Ambassador, Jantz will continue his work to share the mission of Come and See worldwide by cultivating relationships with churches, Christian organizations, the academic community, and ministry partners.
“I am excited and honored to continue advancing the mission of Come and See and The Chosen in my new role. What a privilege it is to take the greatest story of the greatest person to the greatest number of people in history,” said Stan Jantz, Global Ambassador of Come and See.
“We look ahead with great confidence and anticipation as James and Stan continue stewarding our global impact. Since our beginning, Stan has helmed Come and See as a strategic leader, exemplifying humility as a prayer warrior and champion for bringing The Chosen to the world. We are deeply grateful to Stan for his leadership and look forward to his new role,” said Mart Green, Board Chair of Come and See.
“As we embark on this next season of dynamic ministry, we look forward to utilizing James’ unique track record combining ministry and business excellence with over 40-years in the marketplace. His vision at DaySpring was to see every person experience and express the life-changing message of God’s love – a vision very similar to ours at Come and See. Together we will continue sharing the story of the authentic Jesus with the world,” continued Green.
